Call for Expressions of Interest – Personnel Certification for Water Sampling

UKAS is proposing to establish a project to develop accreditation for ISO/IEC 17024, Conformity assessment – General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons. The certification body will assess the competency of samplers for the purposes of complying with regulatory duties relating to the monitoring of private water supplies. The sampling procedures will be set out in a sampling manual, the basis of which will form the ISO 17024 accredited scheme.
