SON AWARENESS CAMPAIGN AT ALVAN IKOKU FEDERAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, OWERRI

SON Imo State office recently held an awareness sensitization program at the Department of Primary Education Demonstration School, Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri.

The sensitization led by the Imo State Coordinator Engr. Mrs. Echebiri focussed

on SON mandate and its  relevance to society, promoting patronage of certified made in Nigeria products, identification of the NIS mark as prerequisite for purchase of local products and the SON logo on imported products.

The Students, Teachers and other administrative staff of the school were encouraged to complain to SON on any purchase from which they do not get value for money.

The interactive session was concluded with Students answering questions on their understanding and receiving gifts of pens.
