KADUNA STATE OFFICE SENSITIZES POULTRY ASSOCIATION MEMBERS ON STANDARDS AND QUALITY ASSURANCE

Members of the Poultry Association of Nigeria, Kaduna State recently benefitted from the abundance of technical resources in SON during a sensitization program at which the Kaduna State Coordinator, Mr. Danlami Datti was facilitator.

The Stakeholders were educated on availability of Nigeria Industrial Standards and Codes of Practices for the poultry sub sector.

Mr. Datti stated that SON has internationally accredited testing capacities to confirm conformity of products in the food as well as agro allied sector for local consumption and export.

He encouraged the Poultry stakeholders to make conformity to established standards their watchword in order to save cost and be more competitive in the market place on a continual basis.

Commenting after the exercise, some of the participants expressed appreciation for the enlightenment, promise to carry the campaign to others who were not present.
